Pet Peeve #238

Attention Costco shoppers:

If you can't leave your kids at home, please corral, contain or otherwise control them.  You wouldn't send them out to play in traffic so don't let them run wild amid two-hundred-pound shopping cart gridlock.  I can't count on my fingers and toes how many running, spinning, jumping, climbing and unsupervised kids I saw today.  Shame on you lazy parents!

I don't have the room in this comment box to wax angriotic about this very subject. Plus I think I would ostracize myself from the planet by voicing such feelings. But may I say: THANK YOU for saying this.

Yay! I'm glad you've said that!
I'm not sure which bothers me more: The yelling and screaming or worrying that they're going to get hurt!

Hear! Hear! I'm with ya, sista! Couldn't have said it better myself. :) Thanks for saying it for all of us!

BTW, I'm having a few contests/giveaways on my reviews blog:

It drives me nuts that parents do this! Not just at Costco or places that have many physical dangers--but anywhere. I saw a four year old running 30 ft behind his parents and I thought, "Is that THEIR kid?" You would never know but the way he's running after them and the fact that no one else is around suggests that it is.

Like the Pet Peeve, totally agree with it :)

I'd love it if you could check out my blog sometime!
